1. Assistant Editor

Job Description :

  • The incumbent will be totally responsible for the publication/s.

  • He / she will be reporting to the Group Editor.

  • Timely closing of the issue as per editorial brief provided during editorial meetings, month after month will be his/her responsibility.

  • Will be responsible for adhering to the columns planned for the product, ensuring that the stories and interviews are conducted as briefed and as required for the product.

  • Planning the issues in advance in consultation with the Editorial Board,
    interviewing industry leaders, sourcing articles from guest writers, generating story leads from newspaper articles on the subject, sourcing information from organizations, getting pages into production with sub-editors, designers and DTP operators, ensuring a smooth production process and an error-free final product.

Desired Profile:

  • Person should have worked in an English publication in a similar capacity or a grade lower for at least 5-7 years, with an industry experience of 5 years.

  • Added preference for candidates having worked in a B2B publication.

2. Conference Producer

Job Description:

The incumbent will be totally responsible: Researching topics and recommending topics on which conferences could be held, given the latest trends. Track industry experts to facilitate topic selections and speaker recruitment. Assist in the development of Conference direction and topics by discussion with industry experts Assist in the development of conference scheduling, pricing and budgets, Assist in speaker recruitment and management Assist operations department in planning Liaise with associates, consultants, advisory committees and industry experts Work cooperatively with the functional staff for the overall success of the show.

3. Asst. Sales Manager - Delegates

Job Description:

The incumbent will be totally responsible: Evaluate & prepare delegate opportunities and offer them to prospective delegates with a view to generate revenue for the events being organized. Maximize delegates volumes and revenues for various Events organized by the company. To contact, pitch and close deals. Work cooperatively with the functional staff for the overall success of the show.

Job Description:

The incumbent will be reporting to the Assistant Editor / Executive / Managing Editor.

  • Should be comfortable with reporting and at the desk.

  • Rewriting articles and writing fresh articles as well.

  • Doing Feature articles which are interview-based.

  • Getting pages into production as per Asst. Editor / Executive Editor’s requirements.

  • Associating with designers / DTP operators and ensuring an error-free & smooth production process.

  • Person should have worked in an English publication in a similar capacity or a grade lower for at least 3 years, with an industry experience of 4-5 years

  • Added preference for candidates having worked in a B-2-B publication, preferably Construction /Infrastructure Industry.

9. Telesales Executive - Space selling (Gulf)

Desired Profile:

10. Editorial Coordinator:

Desired Profile:

  • Have a clear picture about the magazine, the editorial content and all information you would need to talk to new writers/guest writers etc about the magazine. Editor to brief.

  • Coordinating with writers for receiving their articles in on time. An editorial status of the issue will be mailed to you regularly which will outline the follow-ups required.

  • Mail questionnaires to respondents for all features and get responses in.

  • Source and mail contact details for writers, if required.

  • Follow up of all photographs required in the issue, for all articles.

  • Make an Issue Report at the end of each issue, the format for which will be given.

  • Following up for forthcoming issues, besides the immediate one.

  • Make a database of all persons (industry wise) followed up with for the issue and forward to the Executive Editor and Managing Editor.

  • Making a database of questionnaires made for the issue.

  • Act as a liaison between outsiders and the magazine, and facilitate smooth communication.

  • Schedule interviews for the Executive Editor.

  • Ensure that the complimentary list and client data sheets for all clients are updated every month.

  • Enter into agreements for all important events-seminars or exhibitions for magazine distribution in coordination with GM - Admin.

  • Provide support to branches by sending databases to all ad managers for forthcoming features and events.

  • Coordinate sending and receiving editorial materials.

15. Manager – Sponsorship Sales.

Job Description:

  • The Sponsorship & Exhibit Sales Manager is responsible for raising revenue through the sale of sponsorship packages for conferences by targeting various companies, organizations and associations.

  • The Manager creates sponsorship and exhibitor packages according to client specification.

  • The Manager attends weekly / monthly company meetings, sales update meetings and conference planning meetings as required.

Essential Duties and Resporsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference;

  • Research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference;

  • Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors when required;

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors;

  • Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors;

  • Update the company Maximizer database as required;

  • Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached;

  • Coordinate various services for clients;

  • Assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities;

  • Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines;

  • Delegate administrative functions to assistants where possible;

  • Meet with trade and professional organizations and other groups to organize, promote and discuss ASAPP Conferences / Trade show services / Round Tables / Seminars, etc ; and

  • Professionally represent ASAPP Events Division at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve issues independently. Ability to establish and master goals.

  • Ability to identify and develop accounts.

  • Ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision.

  • Experience : minimum 7 years

16. Social Media Specialist

Job Requirement:

  • Be passionate about and active on social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn)

  • Have 2 years of experience in social media management

  • The candidate should be enthusiastic, a quick learner, proactive and able to manage many different things at the same time.

  • The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work in a fast paced environment

  • The candidate must have superior communication and project management skills Experience in the following area is considered a plus:

  • Experience with paid media support on social platforms

  • Experience with SEO Marketing

Job Responsibilities:

  • Content creation across the various properties

  • Manage the social media platforms for all properties

  • Strategize and come up with campaign ideas to increase the social media presence of the different properties. This includes specific campaigns around the various events that are conducted by ASAPP Media. There are around 9-12 events per year.

  • Coordinate with the marketing department to keep the social media activity consistent with other promotional efforts across the company

  • Monitor social media trends and implement them into the overall social media plan

  • Analyze social media data and insights and use the knowledge to constantly improve the overall strategy

17. Executive Space selling (Online)

Job Description:

  • The candidate will be responsible in selling the online space for the website.

Job Requirement:
